random

I found myself looking for a specific post-it note...then realized how much i use and love them.

And that has only been from 3 days ago.

Also...who-ever said bread isn't dangerous, is wrong!! Working at a bakery sure has put a toll on my hands...

Okay..so it's kind of hard to tell in this picture but I have scratches EVERYWHERE all over my hands. No fun.

Beginning

So I'm pretty sure I should have started this a looong time ago. I'm taking a cornerstone class which is based around Do-It-Yourself techniques. After having a guest speaker talking about her picture blogs, I thought to myself that with all of the weird/entertaining incidents I should start a blog to share with friends, family, and the world. Sometimes life can be stranger than fiction...

For example...

I recently got a job at a bakery (this is my first week to be exact). On the way home on a fairly busy main road/intersection there was a large gray-ish blue van in front of me. I saw a bright red cardinal bird dive right under it, (mind you we are going a good 45mph) then the bird somewhat got tangled up under the van. It proceeded to fly up and hit my windshield. The poor bird's dead body slammed my windshield, slide down and rested on my wipers.

I will let you know this now that i AM NOT fan of blood at all, I freak out at the slight of blood from a paper cut. So seeing the blood and a dead bird on my wipers made me a little upset. I'm not a fan of seeing dead animals or killing them at all, so i started to tear up, enough to where i needed to pull over. I normally would take a picture of something this strange to share with people but I could not bring myself to take a picture of a dead bird and blood smeared on my windshield. I eventually built up enough courage to turn my windshield wipers on, and the bird fumbled off onto the side of the road.

This is only one of many stories about run-ins with birds...and my car.

Another short story:

Monday 11/30 on my way to my class (ironically the class about DIY and had the guest speaker about blogs) I was driving down the road saw a little snot kid shooting his paintball at cars. Of course, me, stopping at the intersection he des decide to hit my car..so I pull over, look him dead on the eye, he runs in the house. I decided since I saw this kid shoot his paintball gun numerous times at cars, i decided I needed to tell his mother. I go up, knock on the door, wait a few seconds. This kids mom ("Mom") comes to the door, I explain who i am, whats going on etc. Mom then yells "Noah....AGAIN?!"

At this point I just really need to get on my way to class, "mom" apologizes profusely. She was rather upset with Noah (I'd say around 10 yrs. old) and made him clean the paint off of my car. Thank You Noah for cleaning my car and may you learn your lesson you little shit.

Alright enough for now, next time I'll put up pictures...just didn't have pictures of these freak accidents.

Until next time....
