Mountains: Hills with Trees...

Before I start ranting and raving about my Colorado trip with Cunningham family, I would like to state that yes, I didn't give mountains or Colorado much of a chance before this. Before this trip was ever planned, my family was wanting to take a vacation to Colorado, I opposed so we went to Florida (I do still love beaches!) instead of the beautiful mountains. When I got back from CO a few weeks ago I did tell them I'm sorry for "underestimating the beauty that is in Colorado", or something along those lines.

Now, on to the trip. The best family trip with cousins, aunt and uncle EVER! There was tons to do, and could have stayed another month and still did something new everyday! The weather was so perfect, 70s in the day with sun and 45-50 degrees at night. Couldn't have asked for better weather, well maybe not so many random rain showers and storms on the way home.

What was accomplished while in CO:
*Beer & Bluegrass Festival
*morning hikes
*taking a "Super Slide" down the mountain
*White-water rafting
*drinking almost every night
*making our own pub crawl starting at 12pm ending at 2am, in between was an absinthe bar and a awesome local band.
*many many laughs and inside jokes
*bummed around at the lodge
*scenic hikes
*Almost made it to a BBQ festival but decided to head home.
