Eastbound 40. 6th of May. Making my way down to South City. I was minding my own business, singing Regina Spektor, and paying attention to the road. I always tend to look around at other cars, seeing who is driving by or around me. I look over to my right side, a HUGE black suburban car thing...I all the sudden started having a panic attack. Why, you ask? The man driving...A MIDGET CLOWN. Yes, a midget clown. If you know me well enough, you know that I am TERRIFIED of clowns. Mind you, this small-person clown, full make-up and outfit on, was also smoking. Double wammy. Very frightening.
Making my way over to exit, yes, it was to exit the highway so I could pull over, and focus on breathing before I got back on the road. Making my way over two lanes to the right, all the sudden a semi-truck's tire blew out right in front of me. This is second time in the past 5 minutes on the highway that my life has flashed before my eyes. Had to do some hardcore 'on-the-tip-of-my-toes' driving by swerving and not hitting any cars. I survived. No one was injured. Still a scary situation, even though it happens frequently to semis.
Spring is here, and so are the storms. Enjoy them, while I'll be hiding under my covers. Here, add storms to my list of things that I am afraid of.
Night kids!
