*World Cup games GALORE.
*LAKEHOUSE
*Watching 5 little kids from ages 9 months - 9yrs old. Being the third parent.
*Concerts: Freelance Whales, Mumford & Sons, Jon Hardy & Public, Dave Mathews, Eisley, Slightly Stoopid. More local bands, bar/cover bands but so much fun!
*house/dog sitting.
*bakery (still 800 degrees inisde!!)
*AC St. Louis Soccer games!
*being a poolside bum
*Saw Winter's Bone. Awesome movie.
*Talked to a older lady for 10 minutes about how nice the fruit looked at the grocery store.
*catching up with a lot of friends in town. Best memories ever.
I just want to go on a ramble for a minute. Blues music makes me so happy. I know that it's mostly depressing, she/he cheated on me, my man got taken away, etc. etc. But there is something about how raw, true, and heartfelt that gets me. It also helps when I love that low-key vibe, guitar, bass and all. It's just perfect summer weather music. Sit outside in a beer-garden, drink a nice cold brew, and listen to some live Blues music. Sounds like a perfect night to me. And bluegrass...don't even get me started on it just yet...that'll be for another blog time. Yes, it's true, I'll talk about how I used to run at 6am a couple summers back while listening to bluegrass. PUMPS ME UP!
